Well I have to run on on a vacation. The blog will be temporarily out of commission while I am gone. So you all have a great time while I step out for a bit.

If you have a moment, please check out Empower Up, The (revolutionized) New Kiggins Theater (on Facebook), or chuckle at The Daily Couve if you are stuck at work and have no more vacation time for the year! :-D

Or if you have the fortitude, give your local political candidate a call? Please have a comment or question ready for them. They always need to hear from you! You never know how they might answer or who might answer but its election season again and it is time for them to want to answer that burning question you have hidden away for that special time.

And remember, it is going to be soon enough that you are going to have to make a cognizant choice, so make at least one phone call, location visit with the candidates or go to the CVTV web site and find out how your candidate feels about the subject that you care about. Or better yet, enter them into the search engine sweepstakes and see what comes up! :)

And on that note, I Bid you all adieu.

*Sighs* What you need to find out about the "SnoozeMedia Patrol.... (tm)"

Ok, for those who don't feel that the local snoozemedia patrol does not have a sense of entitlement to humor, here is our fearless wanderer, Matt Wastradowski as the FOOD runway model for Saint Joseph's Sausage Fest cover that they were doing for a cover of the Weekend happenings section. (I have been thoughtfully corrected. It should be noted, this was an attempt at satire.)
With Troy Wayrynen, Sue Vorenberg, and other workers working on Matt to show us how they do a cover of the Weekend section from the inside! :)
And you shall note, that most of the employees in most of this video are in a hysteric state of myrth and happiness. So please,  Do enjoy! Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI8ZxY-TAIc

I want to thank Lew Waters over at Clark County Conservative for posting this youtube video on his wordpress site. I could not watch most of the September 11th videos on television, listen to it on the radio or view most of the other offerings but this seriously gave my heart a move that I could not move for nearly an hour after I watched it.

This video is about 15 minutes long. It shows you what average people can do when they put their minds to some thing. With one of the more horrific challenges of my generation and a couple overlapping generations coming, this news item will become one of our defining moments like a lot of our wars and conflicts of many different sizes and strengths of  preceding generations.

If you want to see what a group of Americans can do unselfishly in the moments of sheer terror, watch this video....
