The dues, the don'ts and who is missing out...

Some people may have read some of my earlier posts that basically say that I have a chronic disease that forces me to do a couple visits a year. Its not some thing I enjoy, but its a fact-of-life for me right now. And for those who may not know, the current Washington state and governor has some important bills up in Olympia to reshape government to effectively cut along many lines to cover a five billion dollar shortfall and possibly have to deal with an even weaker economy than the washington state economic forecaster had predicted just before the end of the current session of both state houses.

Here is a simple list of what passed and what didn't.

Just in case you need to follow along to find out what finally came out of the special session that just ended. And there are going to be some serious cuts all over the budget and no one is going to be happy with it. And in these economic times, screaming bloody murder or suing the state isn't going to help the situation.

We are in bad times. That means everyone from teaches to health professionals to medicad recipients are going to have to tighten their belts and if they can do without to help the state, then do it!
