After watching the local political scene for some time & got horn swaggled a few times by misdirection, misleads and just plain tomfoolery of some campaigns, I think I am starting to smell another con coming up.
Now that the columbia river crossing project has passed Metro in Portland, the baseball stadium talks working there way through a process, and Light Rail looking more and more like everyone who has fought it for near two decades is tired, that they have been worn down to pieces and that it actually might come to pass...
Now thinking things through, why do I have a feeling that the locals are again going to get shafted over and over again when they say, hey wait a second, what is this? And it is by then too late to have input.ON just about every new subject rumored or brought to bare, do the local constituents of Clark County feel they are being listened to or given consideration to their ideas, comments and opportunities?
I wonder if anyone else is getting this same feeling?
